Plans are made for a (holiday) home in Sweden. Looking at Hemnet (Swedish Funda), what do we like, how much renovation work on a house, prices, which areas are/aren't. With a nice list we went to visit these to make a comparison between online and what it actually looks like. Tip: one of the most important points if you are thinking about this yourself, don't buy without looking at it. After this house tour it turned out that our current home was still on the market. And so it happened, bidding, discussing, waiting, bidding, discussing, waiting, exciting times, but we succeeded, we were able to buy the house, quite unexpectedly. We owned a house in Sweden.
After years of travelling through Sweden and holidays in tents, car and camper, we tried to take over a small campsite. This campsite did not work out and we decided to continue in the Netherlands for the time being, it was not our time yet.
2024
January 25; appointment with real estate agent transfer. The moment has arrived, everything has been arranged and we have spent a few hours with the old residents at the real estate agent, until the formalities were completed. We now had the keys, it is our property, a house in a country where we have been gaining experience, breathing, experiencing and relaxing for years, an incredible, unreal and indescribable feeling.
August 6th after a few days of preparation finally to our house. The renovation can begin, making the house our own. And the “garden”, it seems to have not been looked after for years, we really need to get started there to realize the plans later. Good neighbors are helpful and welcome us warmly. We are even more excited.
October 1st Start EF Ryggskog Sverige. The start of our company, business support, all service and preparation for the construction of our apartment and mini camp.

The yard consists of land and forest and is endless, partly because nature here belongs to humans and animals, so please treat it with care.

FINNMARKSLEDEN.
A walking/hiking route from Los, via cobalt mine, along our yard, via Hamra to Fågelsjö. Beautiful route and overnight stay in Ryggskog possible. Link to route.
LOOSSJÖN (Loos meer)
Lakes for swimming, fishing (remember to bring your fishing permit) and other water fun, with a picnic or campfire during sunset.
SKIBACKEN (SKIPISTE)
Less than 2km away is a ski slope for a few hours of skiing, snowboarding or other snow fun. At the bottom of the slope is a grill cabin to prepare delicious warm refreshments. Link to info slope.
